Crepey skin

What is crepey skin? Crepey skin is similar to wrinkles but is not necessarily linked to aging skin. Crepey skin affects larger areas of the body and can make your skin look noticeably more fragile and thin, similar to crepe paper. The most common cause of crepey skin is UV radiation. Elastin fibers in your skin allow your skin to stretch and return to its normal position. However, UV radiation can break this process down, and over time, your skin can lose its elasticity. If you are concerned about crepey skin, we recommend talking to a dermatologist or beauty expert to get a tailored course of treatment.
