Touching your face is something you do unconsciously through expressions, idle fiddling, scratching, or picking. Yet, this common habit can be terrible for your skin and overall health. Hands and fingers contact many germ-coated objects throughout the day, such as knobs, handles, etc. By touching your face, you could be spreading bacteria around your skin, potentially making acne and other skin conditions worse. Try being more mindful about what your hands are doing every moment, and remind yourself not to touch your face.
