Looking for a way to relieve stress while giving your face and jaw a workout? Lion’s breath or Simhasana can do just that! Follow this step-by-step guide to awaken your inner lion and banish anxiety. (1) Find a comfortable position. (2) Set an intention. Decide what you want to let go of emotionally and visualize it leaving your body as you practice Simhasana. (3) Inhale deeply through your nose. (4) Cross your eyes and look up towards your Ajna Chakra, or Third eye. (5) Open your mouth wide, stick out your tongue, and extend it down towards your chin. Exhale forcefully and repeat as many times as you like.
